Local star Caleb Jewell will be looking to continue his meteoric rise in the past 12 months, re-joining the Hurricanes ranks after previously donning purple in BBL|09.
With a Big Bash 50 already next to his name back in BBL|08, the left hander proved his class with a maiden test century for the Tasmanian Tigers at Shield level last season, smacking Queensland for 140 off just 236 deliveries.
The knock assured Jewell’s place in the Tigers XI for the remainder of the season, and the 24-year-old will look to build on his recent excellent form for his hometown Hurricanes.
