In exciting news for all 'Canes fans, the Hurricanes Fan Day has been announced for the day after the BBL|14 Final on Tuesday 28 January.
Win or lose on Monday night, the Hurricanes players will all be at Kangaroo Bay from 12:00 - 2:00pm to celebrate the season that was.
Working alongside Cricket Tasmania's Community Cricket team, cricket activities will be set up on the oval, giving Hurricanes fans a chance to hit huge sixes like Tim David, and bowl fast like Nathan Ellis!
Staples of this year's Hurricanes matches, resident saxophonist Gust and DJ Cane will be in attendance, along with face painters, Hurricanes giveaways and a chance to see your Hurricanes players in the flesh.
Our host for Hurricanes matches this season, Tubes Taylor will also be in attendance running the festivities, having Q&A's with our players and coaches, and hopefully help celebrate a huge win on Monday night.
Cricket Tasmania CEO, Dominic Baker is excited to be able to provide a post-final Fan Day for the first time.
"Fan Days like this give our players, staff and wider organisation an opportunity to give back to Hurricanes fans, who have supported us so well this season.
"By providing fans a chance to play some cricket, meet their favourite player, win, lose or draw, and hopefully we can inspire future generations of Hurricanes players on Tuesday with the trophy in hand," said Baker.
City of Clarence Mayor, Brendan Bromley, said the fan day is a fantastic initiative and Kangaroo Bay is the perfect location.
"Win or lose, the Hurricanes have had an amazing season and the City of Clarence is proud to be able to support the club in their success.
"The Hurricanes' success has highlighted the amazing ability of sport to bring a community together and I hope people from Clarence and all over Tasmania, enjoy the opportunity to celebrate what will hopefully be our first BBL title," said Bromley.
The Final is being held on Monday night at 7:15pm at Ninja Stadium, and a win would see the Hurricanes win their piece of BBL Silverware.
