It's Finals time!
The Hurricanes will be hosting a home final in the Qualifier at Ninja Stadium, for the first time since 2020.
After having already hosted the Sydney Sixers in Hobart earlier this year, where the Hurricanes won 50 runs, the 'Cane Train will be hoping for the same result and give fans another win.
A win in tomorrow night's match will see the Hurricanes move straight through to next week's decider on Monday's Public Holiday on 27 January.
Last night's match against the Melbourne Stars resulted in a loss, but top spot was already locked in after the win against the Heat on Thursday night in Brisbane.
After being set a difficult chase of 220 on a great batting wicket at the MCG, the Hurricanes were bowled out for 179 with three balls remaining in the match.
Skipper Nathan Ellis led the way with the bat, scoring 40 off 22, while Mitch Owen continued his rich vein of form, as he scored 38 off 17 with his typical huge sixes over the leg side.
The match saw the return of Ben McDermott (a four games absence) and Chris Jordan (two games), who both had been battling injuries, but returned to full fitness ahead of what will be a deep finals run for the 'Canes.
Riley Meredith was also rested for the match last night, after playing in every game so far in BBL|14, and is every chance to return to the starting XI for the game against the Sixers.
Tomorrow night's squad for the Hurricanes sees Jake Doran return to the squad after he missed the game against the Stars, coming out of the squad is Marcus Bean.
