The Hurricanes march on to Brisbane for a huge Thursday night clash at the Gabba.
Fresh off a massive SIXTH win in a row last night at Ninja Stadium, the 'Canes will be looking to go for their seventh consecutive win, to give them every chance to finish first and lock in a double chance for the BBL|14 Finals.
Last night's win ensured that the Hurricanes would not finish any lower than third, and at a minimum would play at least one more time in front of their home fans in Hobart.
Bowling first, Riley Meredith dominated with the ball taking 3/36 from his four overs, but their fielding innings was unfortunately marred by a shoulder injury to Billy Stanlake who had been a crucial aspect of the Hurricanes bowling line-up.
Restricting the Renegades to 154, the 'Canes paced their chase to perfection and the win was sealed with a huge Tim David six into the Ponting Stand, as they won the match with two balls to spare.
The Hurricanes squad for tomorrow night's match will see Billy Stanlake come out of the squad after his shoulder injury finished his season unfortunately early, and coming in for his potential BBL debut, is recent Injury Replacement Signing Tim Ward.
Ward is currently playing for the Cricket Australia XI against the English Lions, and is already in Brisbane playing in this match, when the team arrives later today.
Ben McDermott remains out of the squad while he recovers from a hamstring injury, but is aiming for a return for the Hurricanes next match.
The Hobart Hurricanes fixture against the Brisbane Heat begins at 7.30 pm (Hobart Time) tomorrow night.
The Hurricanes fourteen-man squad consists of:
