Four wins on the trot... the 'Cane Train is rolling, and the Sydney Thunder is the next stop!
Travelling to Sydney today, the Hurricanes squad arrive to take on a Thunder team that is entrenched in the top four and have been one of the form teams of the competition.
After a loss against the Heat in Brisbane last night, the Thunder will be out for revenge when they take on the Purple Army tomorrow night.
The Hurricanes won another match against the Adelaide Strikers on Sunday night and chased down 186 on a terrific Ninja Stadium wicket.
Tim David made his first fifty of the season, scoring 62* not out off 28 balls, while Waqar Salmkheil took 2/22 with the ball.
The match tomorrow night against the Thunder will be Salamkheil, and West Indian, Shai Hope's final match in Hurricanes colours before the leave for the International League T20 Competition in the UAE.
Both players have been great contributors to the culture of the Hurricanes group, and had strong performances in their specific disciplines, with Hope providing a steady hand at number three, and Salamkheil bamboozling batters with his left arm leg-spin.
The Hurricanes squad for tomorrow night includes left arm spinner Paddy Dooley, who comes into the squad for Caleb Jewell.
