Two home games in one week, how lucky are we 'Canes fans!
The Hurricanes remain in Hobart after an empathic win over the Sydney Sixers on Wednesday night where they won by 50 runs.
Nikhil Chaudhary was named the player of the match for his 70-run partnership with stand-in Hurricanes skipper Ben McDermott, and important wicket of Josh Phillippe in the powerplay.
The bowling performance was a team effort with each bowler taking at least one wicket, Chris Jordan leading the way 3-23.
Now sitting fourth on the BBL|14 ladder, the Hurricanes will want to shore up their spot in the top four as they chase a finals spot for the first time since BBL|11, when there were five teams participating in the finals.
Hurricanes Captain, Nathan Ellis, will be looking to return to the XI after missing the last match through illness, but would be pleased with how well the Hurricanes performed in his absence.
The Hurricanes squad is unchanged for the match against the Strikers tomorrow night at Ninja Stadium, with the game being played at the traditional BBL timeslot of 7.15 pm.
