Hurricanes return to Hobart for first ever BBL match at NINJA Stadium!

Following a tough matchup against the Melbourne Renegades at GMHBA Stadium last night, the Hobart Hurricanes return to NINJA Stadium for their first home game of BBL|14.

The Hurricanes, who were bowled out for 74 last night will be looking to amends against the Perth Scorchers tomorrow afternoon at 4.00 pm on what is shaping up to be a terrific matchup.

Hurricanes Cap no. 95 and 96 were presented to Shai Hope, and Waqar Salamkheil during the match, but it was our captain, Nathan Ellis, who led from the front with his BBL career top score of 35 off 29 balls, and 2/12 off his three overs.

Tomorrow night's squad includes talented batsman, Charlie Wakim, who comes into the squad for Marcus Bean adding some additional firepower to the Hurricanes batting line-up.

Wakim will make his debut for the Hurricanes, if selected will be given Cap no. 97, but is no stranger to playing in the BBL having played for the Melbourne Stars and Brisbane Heat in previous seasons.
